Welcome to the inaugural Safety Conference at UC Merced where we look forward to hosting an annual safety conference to bring together our community and partners in a joint effort to improve campus safety and foster a culture of preparedness.

The goal of the Safety Conference is to improve our partners knowledge, competency level, and collaborative skills to improve campus safety. The Safety Conference accomplishes this by attracting subject matter experts in their field to address current topics and practical solutions.

As an institution of higher education we look forward to the education and training aspect of this conference by providing our attendees the opportunity to obtain or learn new skillsets, learn best practices from leading subject matter experts, hear lessons learned from real-world disasters, and improve collaboration through information sharing with other university, college, and K-12 administrators, and public safety professionals.
