About Emergency Management

The UC Merced Office of Emergency Management is dedicated to protecting our community through preparedness and coordination. We work collaboratively to plan and prepare the campus for emergencies; provide training, education, and resources that build a culture of preparedness; and lead partnerships that strenghthen the university's ability to withstand, respond to, and recover from all-hazards incidents.

Mission

Our mission is to build a safe, informed, and resilient UC Merced community by promoting preparedness, collaboration, and shared responsiblity. Together, students, faculty, and staff play an active role in preparing for, responding to, and recovering from emergencies and campus disruptions.
